Nickelodeon Through The Years at Comic-Con

Since 2017, we have partnered with Glow Studio LA to bring Nickelodeon’s worlds of SpongeBob SquarePants, Avatar, Good Burger, and many more to life at San Diego Comic-Con. From concept to construction, each exhibit has been a testament to creativity, craftsmanship, and the power of in-person engagement.

Here’s a look back at some of our milestone projects together.

Nickelodeon Comic-Con 2017

2017

Our journey with Glow Studio LA began with a bang, the best way to represent Nickelodeon. Neon slime dripped from the classic orange letters. We fabricated vibrant, three-dimensional graphics that captured Nickelodeon’s most iconic shows. This first collaboration proved to be the start of something great.

Nickelodeon Comic-Con 2018

2018

Building on the success of our first project, we pushed the boundaries with large-scale characters and bold fabrication that made you feel right at home in a larger-than-life, Times Square-inspired collection of graffiti and screens.

Nickelodeon Comic-Con 2019

2019

This year, we unveiled a life-size Krusty Krab and Chum Bucket that welcomed Comic-Con attendees to make their own Krabby Patties among other interactive elements. The overwhelming response solidified our relationship with Glow Studio LA and Nickelodeon.

2020-2021

Comic-Con paused during these years, but planning and creative development stayed active behind the scenes.

2022

When Glow came to us with another big ask for San Diego Comic Con, we didn’t hesitate. This time, it was a full-scale recreation of the Monster High high school, complete with interactive trophy cases, scannable QR codes, and screens revealing hidden facts about the brand. On the flip side of the booth? Fan-favorite worlds from TransformersAvatar: The Last Airbender, and SpongeBob. Built fast. Built big. Built to stop traffic.

Nickelodeon Comic-Con 2023

2023

Glow Studio LA returned to us for Nickelodeon’s next experience at San Diego Comic-Con. We delivered a variety of immersive experiences from Avatar the Last Airbender to Monster High and Good Burger. Monster High’s section featured a striking overhead structure that turned heads. It was a true representation of Nickelodeon’s legacy and our shared commitment to excellence.

Nickelodeon Comic-Con 2024

2024

With years of partnership behind us, we design experiences that don’t just show up—they captivate fans. At San Diego Comic-Con, we brought the 25th Anniversary of SpongeBob SquarePants to life by fabricating the Krusty Krab, SpongeBob and Squidward’s houses, and the Barg’N Mart. Built to delight, built to last.

Nickelodeon Comic-Con 2025

2025

Our seventh and most recent Comic-Con collaboration with Glow brought Avatar: The Last Airbender to life for Nickelodeon. From the walls of Ba Sing Se to the Jasmine Dragon to Aang encased inside the iceberg, we fabricated a fully immersive world that dropped fans straight into the Four Nations. Inside the booth, guests could interact with Appa and engage with the glowing elemental symbols suspended overhead—an experience designed to spark wonder and built to move crowds.

From concept sketches to final builds, our collaboration with Glow Studio LA has been defined by trust, innovation, and a shared passion for creating unforgettable experiences. As we look ahead, we’re excited for the next chapter in our journey together.
